The votes have been counted and the results are in - find out which titles the STARBURST team has crowned THE TOP 50 FANTASY FILMS ALL-TIME! Will your favourites make the cut? There’s only one way to find out!

Also in this issue:

- Filmmaker Leigh Whannell will soon be following up The Invisible Man with another contemporary take on a Universal Monsters classic, and he’s joining us to talk all things Wolf Man!

- The Garbage Pail Kids are turning 40 and we’re taking the opportunity to do a deep (dumpster) dive into the GPK brand’s grotesque legacy!

- Acclaimed weirdos of Canadian cinema, Guy Maddin, Galen Johnson, and Evan Johnson, have returned with Rumours, a black comedy that incorporates zombie bog men, giant brains, and a bunch of politicians extremely out of their depth. Can the trio make sense of it all? We sit down for a chinwag with them to find out. (But no, no they cannot.)

- From cosmic crimefighter to irreverent late-night talk show host and back again, Space Ghost has had one heck of a career since he first arrived on the scene in 1966 – luckily we’re on hand to make sense of it all and bring you the full story of this unconventional cartoon creation!

- The trio of stars at the front and centre of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 – actors Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, and Tika Sumpter – pay us a quick visit to tell us why they think this sequel is the best yet. Game on!

- It may have been fifty years since Ace of Wands last aired on British TV, but we’ve certainly never forgotten this spellbinding slice of kids’ telly! Join us as we revisit this cult curio in our ace new retrospective…

- The chances of Martians coming to a city near you are much lower than a million to one, as The War of the Worlds embarks on a new tour soon. Legendary composer Jeff Wayne is here to discuss this new version of his timeless classic. Ullaaaa!

- Buffyverse legend Juliet Landau and Matilda herself, Mara Wilson, spill about their new audio drama, the vampire task force series VAM PD.

...All this and much, MUCH more!

Works great! The mat is a good size and the charger works well! So much more convenient than plugging in to charge.

Worth every penny!
Love this desk mat! Huge, sleek light-gray mat with built-in wireless charging. Fits my full keyboard, mouse, and phone perfectly. Super smooth for the mouse, stays put, and instantly made my desk look way cleaner. Great quality and worth every penny!

Still Usefil for a Samsung S24 Ultra User
Color: Black
The Charging Pad: The pad is super flat (nearly the same thickness as the pad) and looks nice next to it or a similar mouse and keyboard pad. It works perfectly for my Samsung S24 Ultra without a case on it, but having a 'magsafe' style case would improve the experience. You do have to take a second to get the alignment right. It uses USB-C instead of cheaping out with a micro, and the status light is helpful. I don't think I own anything that can charge in the headphone area, and in case you're wondering, neither spot will charge a Samsung smartwatch (as expected). I'd nearly recommend this just for the charging pad since it's so unobtrusive on the desk. Just remember you'll need to route that wire out of the top of it somewhere. The mouse pad: The size is probably perfect for a typical keyboard and mouse user. I always have a 3D mouse on the left, and an extra long Coursair keyboard, so I prefer having a gigantic mat for all of that. But there is one feature of this mouse pad that I like more than most. The material doesn't attract every spec of dirt and hair in the universe, and it's easy to wipe off. Because of this, I use the pad under my 3D mouse and keyboard, with a larger full-desk pad underneath (including the mouse area). The felt material on the back keeps this locked to my desk, and unlike a rubberized pad, isn't going to turn into glue after a few years. I did test my mouse on the pad, and it feels fairly good. It's not too smooth, and is a bit easier on your hand, but very serious gamers may take some time to adjust.

Smaller and more expensive than artisian deskmats
Color: Black
These are slightly smaller than the standard artisan deskmats and double the price.. It's also about half the thickness, so there's not as much padding. This isn't a huge deal. if the felt is on the bottom, it doesn't grip to the desk very well. The wireless charger is okay, but I found it bulky. Having a small dedicated 3 in 1 charging stand was more convenient for me. If you have a heaver mechanical keyboard, you won't be able to lift this thing to see underneath it. Overall, this is an okay deskmat and it'll serve it's purpose when I'm washing my regular deskmat, but not my favorite.
